Erica Poseley-Got Seat? -Individual Seat Lessons
Erica Poseley studied with master trainers in Europe for an education in the
art of the dressage seat. She has also studied with many top judges,
instructors and clinicians throughout the United States, and has had
advanced training in teaching and communication with Mary Wanless. On an
ongoing basis, she trains with with Sandy Howard, Dietrich von Hoppfgarten,
and David Hunt.
Erica incorporates advanced biomechanics principles in her teaching and
focuses on the rider's position and its effect on the horse. The best
approach to an elegant, secure, effective seat is regular skilled lunge
lessons with an emphasis on the rider's seat and position. Because all
riders can benefit from teaching techniques that focus on the biomechanics
between the horse and rider and lunging allows riders to focus in their
position instead of the horse.

Mark Rashid is an internationally acclaimed horse trainer known for his
ability to understand the horse's point of view and solve difficult problems
with communication rather than force. He began working with horses at age
ten, when he met the "old man," who taught him to work with horses, not
against them, and to listen to what the horse is trying to say. Mark's
clinics center on one-on-one work with horse and rider and are immensely
popular with people around the world. He is also an author, musician, and
has several instructional dvds.
